Profile

Think of Italy and you think of warmth - not just from the sunshine but from the people, their culture and, most of all, their music.

Mario grew up in a remote region of southern Italy where the rich and evocative tones of the accordion are everywhere and learning to play (he was taught from the age of three months) is second nature. His musical skills extend also to keyboards, guitar and vocals.live music norfolk

Family is an important part of  Italian culture hence he is joined by  his father-in-law and well known percussionist Luigi in this, their          latest musical venture.

Luigi has lived in England much longer than Mario, his recording career started here in 1968. Having performed with many groups and at numerous venues his skills and sympathetic playing are beyond question.music live norwich italy

Apart from traditional Italian tunes they play music from other parts of Europe as well as Latin America - but wherever the music comes from, it always comes with Italian warmth.
